Medical weight management.

Lasting weight change is a medical issue, not a willpower test. Our program looks at labs, medications, sleep, and daily routine — then builds a plan you can keep.

How the program works

01

Medical evaluation

Full history, exam, and labs: thyroid, A1C, lipids, liver and kidney function.

02

Personal plan

Calorie and protein targets, a sample meal plan, and an activity goal that matches your fitness today.

03

Regular check-ins

Visits every 2–4 weeks in person or by telehealth to adjust the plan and track progress.

04

Medication if appropriate

For eligible patients, FDA-approved weight-management medications, with side effects monitored closely.

Our safety standards

Safe, honest, and supervised.

  • We only prescribe FDA-approved medications, filled by licensed pharmacies — no unregulated compounded "copies" without a clear medical reason.
  • Medication isn't right for everyone. Pregnancy, certain thyroid conditions, and other factors may rule it out.
  • We never promise specific results. Typical goals are 5–10% of body weight over 6–12 months, which meaningfully improves health.
  • We don't prescribe controlled stimulant diet pills.
Questions
Does insurance cover the program?

Visits and labs are often covered when there's a related diagnosis. Medication coverage varies widely by plan. We'll check your benefits and explain self-pay options before you commit.

How long is the program?

Most patients stay with us for at least six months, then move to maintenance visits every two to three months.

Can I do the visits online?

After your first in-person evaluation, many follow-ups can be done by telehealth while you're in Florida. Periodic in-person visits are still needed for weigh-ins and labs.
